Directions

'Messenger' and 'Zodie' leave from Hannaford's Wharf, Te Kouma Rd. Coromandel town is approx. 1 hour (55km) from Thames.

From Thames - follow the road past The Warehouse and Pak n Save and out of town. Follow this road for approx 47km, 50 minutes.
As you come down the last set of hills you will see oyster farms and mussel barges in the Coromandel Harbour.

At the bottom of that hill is a very sharp left hand turn. This is Te Kouma Rd. Follow it for approx 2km. Go past the big concrete wharf (Sugar Loaf) and onto the dirt road. Look to the right - you will see a long wooden jetty. This is Hannaford's Wharf. Follow the road around and there is parking at the top.
