WINTER CUVIER TRIPS

From July to October each year we offer trips out to Cuvier Island and surrounds. Here we catch a large variety of fish including king fish, hapuku, red snapper, snapper, pink mau mau, tarakihi just to name a few!

Messenger is moored in Port Charles Harbour at the top of the Coromandel Peninsula. This means it only one hour steaming to get to Cuvier Island.
All inclusive package deal, $250* per person

It is a big day travelling and fishing so we have arranged a great package for you.

Come up to Colville Bay Motel and Motor Camp the night before and enjoy a delicious meal and very comfortable fully serviced accommodation. In the morning have a cooked or continental breakfast then collect your packed lunch before leaving at 6.30am for the 30minute drive to Port Charles. You will leave the wharf at Port Charles at 7am and be on your way to some great fishing.

Also included in the package is:
Rods, reels, hooks, sinkers and bait.

When you come back at approximately 5pm you can make your own way home or stay an extra night and leave refreshed the next morning.
